Beginning in 1979 with one Bridgeport mill and an engine lathe, Precision Machined Parts (PMP) has evolved into a progressive machining facility. We provide high quality components for aerospace, firearms, military and commercial enterprises. Equipped for all types of precision machining, we have established our reputation by supplying customers with machined parts they are proud to call their own.
Today, we occupy a clean, 24,000 square foot climate controlled complex in Nevada, Missouri. The latest machine tools include a new Makino A61nx horizontal, 2 new Doosan 2100SY lathes, a Ganesh swiss type lathe, a 4020LS mill and a Mori Seiki DuraVertical mill.
Ongoing investments like these ensure that PMP customers continue to receive precision parts; in a timely manner, at a reasonable cost, and allowing them to increase productivity using new processes available through technology advancements.
A family-owned business, PMP was established by Martin Hill. Hill received his early training at Pittsburg State University and later worked with Martin Marietta and several smaller machine shops before starting his own company. PMP was incorporated in 1992 with Jenet Hill as President and owner and Martin Hill as General Manager. Operations Manager, Brent Livengood, has been with PMP since 1982 and is responsible for daily operations.
